This is the #1 question we get asked — and for good reason!
We know your child is one-of-a-kind, and many little ones love picking out their own outfits. We think that’s awesome! So while we’ve included a few helpful suggestions below, remember — rules are made to be broken, especially when it comes to personality and style.
Solid colors or subtle prints work beautifully on camera. Try to avoid large logos, bold stripes, or busy patterns, as they can distract from your child’s bright smile and sparkling eyes. Neutral tones help keep the focus on your little one.
Layering is an easy way to create multiple looks without a full outfit change. A jacket, cardigan, scarf, or fun hat can be added or removed for variety. Sunglasses and accessories are a fun bonus!
Does your child have a favorite toy, blanket, musical instrument, or sports gear? Send it along! We love adding personal touches that reflect your child’s unique interests — it makes the portraits even more meaningful.
